Winduino

We just finished a new prototype: The Winduino. This device uses the Arduino platform to translate air movement into sound. The original inspiration for this device was the ancient, wind powered instrument known as the Aeolian Harp. The Winduino transmits the data wirelessly (using Bluetooth) to a computer and the computer uses a Max/MSP patch to generate sound. The Winduino’s batteries are solar powered which allow the device to be totally self sufficient.
